Chapel of Brighid
Olivia states, January 31, 2010: "The Goddess Brigid now Presides over Her Well in the Temple at Foundation Centre in Ireland."
"Within our Temple of Isis in the castle is a holy well traditionally associated with the bullawn stone. The castle was built around it in 1625, so our ancestors have always drunk from its healing waters. The well is dedicated to the Goddess Brighid. We use it for everyday drinking, ritual and healing, and for promoting psychic vision."
Quote by Olivia Robertson from the DCD Manual.
"Through a heavy iron gate one comes to the well enclosure with the well, believed to date from Druid times. It has 15 feet of water and is reputed to have healing powers and is now dedicated to the Goddess Brighid of the Tuathe de Danann. People may anoint themselves on their forehead from water left out in a silver basin on the Sagittarius altar." (From the "Guide to Clonegal Castle" by Lawrence Durdin-Robertson.)
The Chapel of Brigid is dedicated to the element of Water and contains the ancient Druid Well, as well as the shrines of Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius and Capricorn.

Olivia's explanation of above photo: "There is now a new wall hanging across the whole back wall behind the Well of Brigid at Clonegal Castle. The beautiful drawing - life size – is by an FOI Priestess and Artist. It is highlighted by Olivia Robertson who identifies it with Brigid Na Mara of the Sea and also with Goda, female equivalent of the Saxon “God”. Goda holds the trident like Britannia Atagartis, Syrian Sea Goddess."
