![]() photograph of Olivia Robertson © Pat Cummings - Order Art Booklet Olivia Robertson writes about her artistic background: "I had my first art exhibition in 1938 and a future one in 1956. I studied at the Grosvenor School of Modern Art in London for a year and a half: '38-39. I won the Purser-Griffith Scholarship taking first place for the History of European Painting 1200-1900. Diploma at the National University in Dublin 1942, after I had been VAD in London. My drawings of children I made during my work at Dublin Corporation Dublin Playgrounds 1942-1945 were published, some of them, in the Irish Times. Illustrated articles on the care of children playing were published in the London Tribune and other magazines. Last year (2005) I exhibited Goddess paintings in an exhibition of International artists in the Newtownbarry House Gallery, Bunclody. Four of these are now in the USA!"
